About this cartoon: The U.S. Supreme Court under Chief Justice John Roberts issued one of its worse and most anti-democratic rulings, claiming the court had no business in interfering with states trying to use extreme, partisan gerrymandering to game elections. This means that the political party drawing the voting district maps can take an unfair advantage to keep itself in power by concentrating the opposition in fewer districts and diluting their power.
